I’m listening to England Vs Bangladesh today on BBC TMS on-line and England are doing brilliantly, not perfectly but near on. In the lunchtime it was announced that the ECB are going to trial a new playing condition this summer. A player may challenge a decision made by the Umpire by referring it to the TV umpire. If it’s proved clearly that the umpire made a mistake, the decision will be over turned.
Only the batsman or fielding Captain may do this and each team gets two unsuccessful challenges. Sounds very interesting but could it undermine the authority of the on field umpires?
Additionally I have a mind block and cannot seem to get into coding / designing recently. It’s a serious problem seeing as my main source of income is web development. I’m sure it will pass!
