It seems Brazilian and US Scientists are looking into the use of venom from a “Phoneutria nigriventer” spider to help men with erectile dysfunction. The venom (which can kill a man) contains the toxin Tx2-6, one that happens to give us erections.

Small doses have already been successfully tested on lab animals.

Now I need to stop here and question a few things;

1. Whose job is it to check animals for erections?
2. What possible purpose would a spider have with erection giving venom?
3. Who in their right mind would purposely ingest spider poison?

I mustn’t kick up too much of a stink though, no doubt when I’m old and having trouble with performance, I’ll be taking it too.
