David Peralty over at Blogging Pro has posted about the effects of the increasingly weak American Dollar for Bloggers and conversion rates for those of us outside the US. Being in the UK I know his and others pain all to well.
At the time of writing $1 is equal to roughly £0.5 so if you were to earn $1000 on Adsense in a month and lived in the UK, you’d only be getting about £500. I don’t know how far $1000 will go in the States but £500 here is next to nothing in terms of living expenses. Seeing as the vast majority of affiliate schemes are US based there is not much that can be done about that but moan, and moan we shall.
