So many people start blogging with the hope of making a full time income, but I’m yet to find a figure that certifies you a ‘Pro Blogger’. Obviously it depends on where you live and the exchange rate from Dollars to your currency but wouldn’t it be great to have a definitive figure to aim for?
A lot of talk on the subject revolves around the idea that $100 is the target to make a blogger professional so lets see how that breaks down in three different currencies;

Daily |

£49.70 |
€73.60 |
|
Weekly |

€2,048.80 |
|
Yearly |
$33,600 |
£16,699.20 |
€24,585.60 |
Obviously these figures are before tax. I’m not sure of the tax systems in countries outside the
£13,025.40
In my opinion the figures suggest that $100 a day would certainly be enough to survive but with the likes of John Chow making $405 a day, there’s no reason not to go higher!
It seems to me when you put this in to perspective it becomes a lot easier to achieve. Everyone wants to be earning like John but to survive purely on blogging you need only earn a quarter of what he does; it’s not a walk in the park but it’s no climb up Mount Everest either.
It is worth remembering that online income will fluxuate; sometimes due directly to the actions you take and sometimes due to events outside your control. It’s not guaranteed that if you’re making $100 a day one month that you will the next, so be sure you’ve got a sustainable income before you quit your day job!

It’s a pretty nice wage here in the UK too, but not extravagant. Paying bills, rent, food and a car wouldn’t leave much afterwards!
